Summary
We want to use 3D projection mapping technology to cover the Venice Skatepark in digital animations. The projections will be custom produced and designed to interact with the space and the skaters in the park. The event will be after nightfall (darkness is needed for the projections to work) and will feature live music, giveaways, and the main attraction: the skatepark.
Sponsors will be able to promote their service or product, musicians will be able to get exposure, the skaters will get exposure, and Venice as a whole will benefit from the publicity. We anticipate a large crowd which will definitely put Venice on the map in a new way

Throw an event that many businesses can benefit from
Projection mapping is a method to simulate three dimensional animations on a real life surface. Artists first create an exact replica of the surface digitally, then modify the model using various special effects. The animation is then projected back on the original object and it creates the illusion that the simulated effects are in fact real. This technology is not very expensive, and it can be done in the Venice skate park on a lesser budget.
